Setting Up Printers & Copiers

  1. Visit the Papercut Mobility Print Client Setup page to download the Mobility Print installer.
  2. Once downloaded, click to run the installer from your browser download list.
  3. Continue through the prompts
    • macOS: All Papercut-managed printers will be installed. You can remove unwanted printers through the Printers & Scanners page in System Preferences.
    • Windows: You will be prompted with a checklist of available Papercut-managed printers. Simply select the printers you want to install, then login at the next step to complete the installation.

Troubleshooting

  1. Wait 5 - 10 minutes to ensure any big jobs get processed
  2. Clear the print queue in your computer’s system settings and try printing again

Hold for Authentication Error (macOS)

  1. Hit the “retry” button on the right-hand side of the affected print job
  2. Enter your LVUSD username and password when prompted (make sure to check the “Remember” checkbox)
  3. If the job does not go through and the error re-occurs, please clear your old password from Keychain using the below instructions:
    1. Open Spotlight Search using the search icon in the upper-right corner
    2. Search for “keychain access” and select the “Keychain Access” app to open it
    3. In Keychain Access search for “papercut”
    4. Select the papercut entry in the list (Usually named after the first printer you printer to) and delete it
    5. Try printing again, enter your LVUSD credentials when prompted, and make sure to check the “Remember” checkbox
